Summary
Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC) one of the fastest growing Hispanic multi-media companies seeks a Network Administrator to join our IT team in Los Angeles, CA or in McAllen, TX. The Network Administrator is responsible for the engineering, performance, maintenance, and optimization of computer network and technologies across the enterprise. The Network Administrator works closely with studio engineers and other administrators to support and optimize our global network and telecommunications technologies; such as firewalls, routers and routing switches, wireless access points, network security devices and network data circuits.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the local and wide area network hardware equipment such as: firewalls, routers, switches, and data circuits across the enterprise to ensure optimum availability of a global network infrastructure.
Ensure continual network stability and reliability within the company and monitor any changes that may adversely affect the network infrastructure.
Coordinate telecom vendor/ISP activities, including new installs/moves/adds/changes/termination of data circuits such as broadband, ADI, DIA, EPL, EVPL, and FIA circuits.
Ensure the environment is fully documented with processes & instructional procedures and updated network diagrams.
Work on network incident tickets; analyze, troubleshoot and resolve network and telecommunications related issues.
Perform network configurations and participate in systems upgrades and data/service migrations as necessary.
Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of disaster recovery plans, recommend and implement network security measures to safeguard the network and perform network security administration tasks.
Provide assistance to support the Helpdesk team and provide support to other Engineering and IT team members as needed.
Interact with end users in a professional, courteous and patient manner at all times; communicate technical information in a non-technical manner as needed.
