Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Master Control Operator's (MCO) primary responsibility is playback of all commercials and live show elements for our Colorado Television operations.
Responsibilities include: ingest of all new commercial and programming inventory; loading, reviewing and verifying commercial playback logs; monitoring of all playback systems for quality assurance; remote monitoring of all broadcast facilities for proper operation; noting of all technical discrepancies.
Duties also include: news and production studio camera operation; pre/post production; and other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Applicant must be focused and possess the ability to handle several tasks at once. Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Must be willing to learn new technologies and production methods, yet remain positive and flexible as technology and procedures change. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) and previous technical TV experience or training helpful.
