We are seeking a Traffic Coordinator for our Cable Networks department. He/she will report to the Manager, Networks Scheduling and Traffic. This position is responsible for assisting with program scheduling, traffic log management, and will provide day to-day operational support to the Cable Networks department and Ad Sales team as required.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for processing commercial instructions received from ad agencies both National and Direct Response.
Assists with composition and distribution of Weekly Programming Guide.
Helps develop a streamlined episode content and general networks library.
Ensures maximum utilization of all available commercial spots by providing proper on-air product separation and adhering to network/advertiser requirements for spot placement.
Assists team with spot placement issues and weekly reconciliation of commercial logs to provide airing verifications.
Corresponds with booking agents and vendors on short form and long form content including commercial spots and episodes.
Will work closely with various levels of management and staff within the Sales, Programming, Operations, Marketing and Finance departments.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of relevant experience. Traffic/programming experience is a plus.
Knowledge of WideOrbit Software or any advertiser management platform a plus; particularly WO Program, WO Network, or both.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
The ability to work in highly matrixed environment.
The ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
