Entertainment Design Corporation (EDC) is an award-winning design and production entertainment firm located in Los Angeles, California.
We are a boutique firm of creatives who love what we do and are looking for someone to join our team. It's a friendly atmosphere where we take our work seriously, while always keeping the focus on the end result; telling incredible stories all over the world!
We are looking for a full-time Production Manager who will manage and support the Creative Team in the creation and development of concept designs for Live Productions, Attractions, and Themed Environments around the world. Familiarity with and interest in entertainment design, production design, or themed entertainment is a must.
EDC's Production Manager is responsible for managing the company's multiple ongoing design projects as well as running the day-to-day operations of the business and office.
The PM functions as producer, manager, and administrator.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Interfaces with administrative, financial, creative, and business development aspects of the company
• Partners with Financial Controller and CEO to develop and write budgets, proposals, contracts, and schedules
• Responsible for the management of multiple projects ranging from design to business development to administrative
• Candidates should be familiar with the field of themed entertainment and entertainment design; experience
working directly with vendors (media, fabrication, lighting, AV)
• Project Management Role incudes:
• Resource Staffing - including management of resource database
• Scheduling - including Master Production Schedule, task tracking, setting meeting dates and milestones with vendors and clients
• Management of Asset Delivery and Vendor Completion
• Managing client expectations
• Responsibility for adherence to all project deadlines and requirements
QUALITIES EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
• Self starter
• Confident
• Leader
• Communicative
• Organized
• Software: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software (Gantt chart creation)
• Social Media marketing
• Website development / WordPress administration
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5+ years of project management experience
• Experience successfully creating and managing project schedules using tools such as MS Project, Basecamp, or other project management systems/software is a plus
• Experience managing multiple projects and schedules concurrently
Position is Full-time in Los Angeles, CA.
Salary commensurate with experience.
