Part Time Job
Entercom Indiana, LLC, WZPL-FM, WNTR-FM & WXNT-AM presently has a job opportunity as a part-time engineer.

Responsibilities:
• Be on call 24/7 to respond to any transmitter or studio emergencies including weekends and holidays;
• Perform maintenance at three transmitter sites, i.e. changing air filters, take weekly transmitter maintenance log readings and calibrate remote controls;
• Perform AM quarterly tower inspections, measure and log AM monitor point readings quarterly;
• Perform Chief Operator log review weekly for each station;
• Assist with studio changes or new installations;
• Assist IT Manager as needed to supplement employee help desk;
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years radio broadcast engineering experience is preferred.
• Hands-on FM, HD and AM transmitter experience is required;
• AM Directional Antenna experience is preferred;
• Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, antenna's, satellite downlinks, automation system, studio equipment, remote equipment, generators, STL's, EAS Sage, telephone system and related other equipment is required;
• IT & Network knowledge and experience is preferred;
• Strong PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required;
• Working knowledge of radio station FCC Rules and Regulations is preferred;
• Experience with computer based audio storage system is required, Wide Orbit preferred;
• Experience with digital audio and audio streaming is preferred;
• Experience with analog & digital audio consoles, i.e., Axia digital is preferred;
Must be able to lift 40lbs. FCC General Class License and/or SBE Certification preferred, a valid driver's license required.
