EMPIRE is seeking a seasoned YouTube expert to manage and drive our video campaigns and initiatives. EMPIRE was founded in 2010 as an artist-friendly, progressive digital distribution company. Responsibilities:
Monetize existing and new YouTube inventory to yield maximum CPMs
Oversee analytics for all priority video releases
Work alongside marketing and business development to increase our presence on YouTube
Liaise with the digital marketing team to stay ahead of upcoming releases
Stay meticulously up-to-date on and implement YouTube product developments
Manage, test, and evaluate new YouTube strategies and partnerships
Serve as main point of contact for YouTube
Requirements:
Must be well-versed in MCNs
Must have strong experience with Google AdSense
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and be highly flexible in order to juggle priorities and meet all deadlines
Expert at managing YouTube analytics, meta text descriptions, and every area of the YouTube CMS
1-3 years of online video platform management in a digital media agency or company with a focus on YouTube
Strong excel skills
Proven ability to manage and analyze large sets of data
Strong proficiency in all major online platforms including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
Desired Education/Skills:
Self-motivated
Problem-solver mentality
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong passion for and knowledge of music
2+ years of music business experience
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a project deadline environment
Highly-organized, meticulous about follow-up, deadline oriented, resourceful and innovative
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
*Must be able to commute to Downtown San Francisco
