Search for Account Manager, Sales jobs in San Francisco-CA
Responsibilities:
- Assist Sales team with setting up and maintaining marketing release schedules for EMPIRE's roster of artists and labels
- Develop and maintain relationships with DSPs (digital service dividers), frequently updating them with new release priorities and marketing plans
- Strategize and execute digital marketing campaigns with key contacts at DSPs including but not limited to TIDAL, Deezer, Napster, Soundcloud, VEVO, etc.
- Coordinate sales & marketing efforts between EMPIRE product managers and Sales team to execute a proper release rollout
- Create and send regular mailouts to relevant contacts at DSP to create awareness and excitement around EMPIRE roster
- Communicate sales trends & placement updates with EMPIRE's roster of artists and labels
Requirements:
- Prior experience with a label/DSP/distributor highly preferred, but not required
- Existing relationships with key contacts at DSPs highly preferred
- Proficiency in Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Detailed understanding of the music industry and key streaming services
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with Hip-Hop and R&B music scene
- Experience in account/client relationships preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines
- Must be able to commute to Downtown San Francisco
Desired Education / Skills:
- Self-motivated
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong passion for and knowledge of music
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a project deadline environment
