An iconic entertainment company in Beverly Hills is searching for a Communications Assistant to support a Senior Vice President. To be successful in this role you must not only be innovative and creative but also be data driven and strategic.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answering phone, coordinate and schedule a heavy calendar which includes meeting and schedule coordination, and complex travel coordination
• Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions
• Assist in organizing and execution of events, campaigns, press events
• Conduct research to support Corporate Communication planning
• Produce content such press releases, pitches, agent and executive biographies, and other agency-related documents and coordinate external communication activities as needed
• Liaise with high-profile clients, managers and publicists
• Reconcile and process expenses and payments
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university required
• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in entertainment publicity at a public relations agency, studio or network preferred.
• Strong Project Management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
