Freelance - Night Editor/Producer

Elias Arts is a dynamic internationally recognized music-company based in Los Angeles and New York specializing in commercial scoring, sound design and sound strategy.

Busy post-production music facility based in Santa Monica is looking for a self-managing and self-motivating Night Editor-Producer position to start immediately. This is a Freelance position with possible transition to a full time opportunity.
This is a unique opportunity to start working now with the top creative composers in LA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and restoring sessions for staff composers to complete writing on compositions and tracks; locate, restore sessions, QC, organize audio files, plug-ins, and modules, replace sounds as needed and generally perform ''make ready'' sessions and deliver to composers in-house.

Music composition skills and knowledge required. Candidate must be very organized, highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, audio technical skills and music background.

Knowledge and experience required with Mac operating systems, Mac software of all kinds, Digital Performer, Pro-Tools, midi, various sample libraries, mixing consoles, live recording, various plug-ins, all audio file formats, and metadata.
