Sr. Recruiter, Talent Acquisition
Our client, a major television network and media production company, has an immediate need for a Sr. Recruiter. In this dynamic role, you will support day-to-day talent acquisition operations, including developing recruiting plans and discovering innovative sourcing strategies.
You will develop systems and processes and recruit for various positions across the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive, analytical individual who has a passion for recruiting and a demonstrated understanding of how to actively source diverse candidates.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with management to develop recruiting strategies and initiatives for current and future needs.
• Work with hiring managers to assess talent needs, develop position specifications, and identify desired competencies for roles.
• Maintain a high level of industry awareness and market intelligence regarding hiring trends, labor shifts, market unrest, and compensation challenges.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations procedures and applicable laws and guidelines.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, schedule interviews for hiring managers, contact references,
• Manage recruitment and hiring processes for vacant regular full-time, part-time and temporary positions up through the Senior level.
• Utilize the ATS and external reporting in a consistent, real-time fashion to provide proper reporting on job activity.
• Report to key partners on the performance and quality of candidates.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, SHRM CP / PHR qualification or equivalent extensive work experience in HR
• 3( ) years of talent acquisition experience
• Previous experience in developing and executing effective inclusive recruitment strategies required
• Experience of working with Applicant Tracking, and other HR Information systems required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite PC skills using Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Must have strong presentation skills
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Human Resources experience within the Entertainment/Media industry
• Experience supporting a studio or production environment
• In-depth understanding of all aspects of employment and human resources-related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts, and practices
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in ATS system process design especially using Paycom or UKG an advantage.
• Systematic and organized approach to projects and day-to-day responsibilities
• Proven experience building trust and using excellent judgment and diplomacy along with strong communication and listening skills
• Must have strong presentation skills
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
