Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (SEO)
Our client, a skincare company, is looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join their team. The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing the SEO strategy. This role will be a part of a growing cross-functional team, working alongside other digital marketers, as well as product managers, creatives, engineers, and digital media specialists. You'll closely collaborate with others throughout the organization to identify growth opportunities, propose new SEO initiatives, and maximize the organic visibility of our business.
Responsibilities
• Create, implement, and own SEO strategy across a portfolio of skincare brands
• Perform Technical SEO: Ensure all web pages are crawl-friendly considering site maps, site navigation, breadcrumbs, robots files, URL structures, indexing problems, page load problems, responses errors, etc.
• Drive the creation of fresh, engaging content for On and Off Page SEO.
• Engage regularly with the SEO community to stay informed on the latest search trends, algorithm updates, search features, optimization opportunities, etc.
• Provide ongoing competitive intelligence: assess competitor SEO/content strategies, understand the impact of algorithm updates on the skin care industry, etc.
• Leverage data to identify and propose growth opportunities of all shapes and sizes: from new content and features to section consolidation and migration; if it drives growth, it should be considered!
• Propose and test changes (i.e. metadata/schema) to optimize core pages for maximum rank and CTR.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Eight (8) or more years of experience working in SEO.
• Demonstrable proficiency with onsite SEO, and how changes to crucial elements (content, links, metadata, etc.) may impact organic performance.
• Experience managing an internal team and/or an external agency.
• Familiarity with Adobe Analytics and Search Console plus an understanding of how to use this data to improve search visibility, as well as common SEO tools.
• Experience working on and maintaining a DTC/ecommerce website.
• Familiarity with SEO AB testing.
• Maintain a strong understanding of content strategy, customer buying journey, website and conversion rate optimization with a proven track record of crafting and implementing successful SEO strategies.
