Our client, an arts and entertainment company that creates immersive and interactive experiences, is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their team at their exhibition in Denver, Colorado! In this exciting role, the Sr. HR Business Partner will partner with business leaders to execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee experience. Please Note: Although the primary work in this role is an office setting, it is on-site in the exhibition. There is frequent exposure to low light, flashing, strobe lighting, haze effect, loud noises, and music.
Responsibilities
• Provide guidance regarding performance management, coaching, career development, and employee relations.
• Manage the on-site HR support team.
• Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
• Drive compliance on-site by maintaining awareness of developing state and local statutes related to employment.
• Support learning and development activities on-site including new hire orientation, HR training and programming, and outreach-led activities.
• Collaborate with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and improve retention.
• Support the non-exempt recruitment activities within the assigned line of business, ensuring a high caliber of talent for current and future needs.
• Work closely with the corporate recruitment team for exempt recruitment activities.
• Understand business goals and recommend new approaches and methods to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
• Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, advise on location-specific guidance and procedures when applicable.
• Liaise with HR centers of excellence to resolve employee inquiries and issues related to Payroll and Benefits.
Requirements
• 7 years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner or similar HR role/title.
• HR experience supporting a group of 200 employees.
• 5 years of progressive experience managing complex employee relations and conducting investigations.
• Demonstrated experience managing leaves of absence and ADA accommodation requests.
• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights, weekends, and holidays during peak operations.
• Experience in hospitality, events, or themed entertainment preferred.
• HR certification preferred.
• Proficiency with HR systems.
• Experience using Paylocity HRIS, Workday, recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed highly preferred.
