Our client, a leader in consumer marketing and content, is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join their team! In this role, you'll use your project management, media relations, and copywriting skills to support the team in driving share of voice, frequency and longevity among external audiences: you'll create and support communications campaigns with a focus on consumer engagement, build and implements relationships with key media, increase consumer touchpoints by leveraging community and influencers, and create written materials around key content projects, among other duties. You'll also support the submission process for industry awards and accolades, and stay informed of industry trends and emerging platforms through research and analysis. This is an amazing opportunity to develop with one of the biggest global brands in the world!
You should have:
- a Bachelor's degree (degrees in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications highly preferred!)
- a minimum 2-3 years' experience in editorial communications or public relations either in-house or on the agency side, with a broad understanding of and relationships within the national media landscape, including broadcast, print, web and new media (experience with streaming a plus!)
- a high level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote
- high caliber communicative, collaborative, project management, and time management skills, with a proven attention to detail and the ability to perform with minimal supervision and adjust to shifting priorities
This is a contract role in the Santa Monica area of Los Angeles, CA, anticipated to last 18 months, with compensation between $22-25/hr, DOE. For consideration, please submit your resume
