Our client, a leading themed entertainment design, planning and production company, is looking for a sharp, client oriented Director of Business Development to join their team. In this dynamic role, you'll use your honed cold calling, networking, advertising and client management skills to work alongside marketing, creative, and other internal teams to identify areas of opportunity for new client conversion and revenue growth: in addition to business development, you'll also focus on client retention, planning, management, and research. You'll attend industry functions, maintain knowledge of the market and competitors, provide business development training to staff of all levels, and handle any client concerns to their satisfaction. You should have:
- a Bachelor's degree
- a minimum 3-5 years of experience within hands on sales & business development [experience within entertainment, FECs, or theme parks highly preferred!], including proven networking & prospecting skills
- top notch research skills, with a proactive approach to understanding the market
- thorough knowledge of and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent communicative, collaborative, time management, and project management skills
This is an on-site role in the Los Angeles, CA area with some travel required.
