Eleven Arts is seeking a motivated writer / editor / screenwriter to polish a novel translated from a foreign language into English for presentation to studios / production companies / financiers for film / TV. The book's translation is complete, but needs to be polished and corrected by a native English speaker. No knowledge of additional languages is necessary. The novel is roughly 300 pages in length and translators will be on hand to answer questions about the text. This job can be performed at home and would require only a few check-in calls.
A short 3 page sample (unpolished) will be given as part of the ''interview'' process and then polished. This is a paid job, but the pay is low. The book's original author is a well-known Japanese writer and film director - and potential credit will be available if the project is picked up for TV or Film.
