Residuals Manager.
Residuals Reporting Responsibilities:
- Review production payroll, contracts, timecards, union agreements and additional documents to prepare residuals setups.
- Compile revenue and receipts information from general ledger, revenue statements and distribution agreements to calculate and process residuals payments.
- Timely calculate and report residuals and coordinate payment of residuals with the payroll company
- Calculate and project future residual obligations on existing and potential acquisitions or on newly produced and/or acquired films and on all forms of television production.
- Liaise with guilds regarding reporting.
- Liaise with guild auditors if applicable.
- Invoice network or collection agent for reimbursements if applicable.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least 3 years of experience in television and theatrical residuals reporting, including guild audit experience.
- Knowledge of residuals reporting requirements from various guilds in the entertainment industry, including guild fringes.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Able to recognize and adhere to reporting deadlines.
