Full Time Job
We're looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team! You will be responsible for processing a significant number of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. Experience working with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, and/or Datafaction is a plus. We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records which includes purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The bookkeeper will work closely with our accounting team to make sure all transactions are booked timely so that key financial reports can be run in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate holds an associates or bachelor's degree (preferably in accounting, business, or finance), however an applicant's skill, knowledge, and work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:
• Process all accounts payable documents in Bill.com, Expensify, and NetSuite.
• Run various historical reports from QuickBooks
• Assist with managing purchase requests
• Maintain W9's and set up vendors in various accounting systems
• Assist in processing accounts receivable statements and create sales orders and invoices in NetSuite
• Ability to research various Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable issues.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Payroll Processing experience.
• Expense Report and Corporate Credit Card processing in Expensify, NetSuite, and Bill.com.
• Prepare payments when AP is approved.
• Experience setting up wires with banks.
• Prepare end of the year 1099's for various entities
• Assist with quarter end close duties.
• Communicate with Vendors, Customers, Co-Workers, and others 3rd party partners.
• Scan various documents and retrieve items from storage as needed.
• Manage incoming department mail.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports in Microsoft Excel as needed
• Prepare Production accounts payable bill backs.
• Assist accounting department with answering phones, calendar appointments, setting up conference calls, scanning, preparing shipping, and other general office duties.
• Assist accounting department in achieving its monthly, quarterly, and year end closing goals.
• Assist with yearend bank audit when needed.
• Identify and resolve any financial discrepancies and provide feedback to the Controller and Accounting Manager.
• Process & verify that transactions are recorded, in a timely and accurate manner
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Minimum of four years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, and/or Datafaction
• Ability to adapt to new accounting information systems
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Ability to operate ten-key calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
• Experience working with databases is a plus.
• Strong experience working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 Software
• Some payroll experience
• Self-starter: Able to complete work with little direct supervision.
• High attention to detail & produces work with a high level of accuracy.
• Understand accounting best practices & knowledge of GAAP.
• Very Knowledgeable with excel (ie formulas, pivot tables, and filtering)
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
