Eclipse Law Corporation, an entertainment law firm representing high-profile writers, directors, actors, producers, and production companies, seeks remote interns for the Spring semester. Must be bright, professional, and energetic, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties include reviewing and drafting agreements, conducting guild and other research, interfacing with agencies and management companies, assisting in document flow, and so on. In addition to performing day-to-day tasks, interns will be assigned readings from a structured curriculum (which includes books, articles, and a wide variety of contracts) and expected to discuss them during periodic meetings with the supervising attorney. This is a great opportunity to learn about the entertainment business, to build your resume and to establish a network. School credit can be arranged (if permitted by your school).
This position is for the Spring term - beginning of January until mid-May.
This is a part-time internship and will only involve 1-2 partial days a week (less than 20 hours). Please indicate which days you have available.
