The Role:
The Graphic Designer is an integral role at eclipse advertising. The Graphic Designer will have a passion for art and entertainment with a broad understanding of entertainment marketing. The Graphic Designer will create design solutions with high visual impact. The designer is responsible for supporting the creative print team as well as concept campaigns across all aspects of print and digital creative including Key Art, OOH, Packaging, Awards Campaigns, Platform Creative, Advertising, Installations, POP etc. The designer is highly organized with a natural ability to collaborate with all members of the eclipse team. The designer is able to juggle multiple urgent deadlines in a calm and cool manner. The designer is a self-starter and detail oriented with fluent knowledge of the Adobe CC Suite.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Create effective, eye-catching, best-in-class creative design across all print and digital creative
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Creative Directors in all design projects
• Photo retouching, masking, compositing, and other photo manipulation
• Execute all design revisions and adaptations
• Experience in reformatting and resizing digital/print files to multiple dimensions and file formats
• Maintain quality, organization and optimization for all platforms
• Understand and maintain brand direction/voice on campaign and client level
• Maintain clean workflows, transparent planning, meticulous asset management and clear communication
• Manage multiple assigned tasks simultaneously from intake to delivery
• Ensure deadlines are met and standards and budgets are maintained
• Participate in brainstorms, crit reviews and meetings as needed
• Remain current in Graphic Design and Entertainment industries by identifying trends, new traits, techniques and workflows
• Other responsibilities as needed
Skills
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Adobe CC Suite
• Illustration skills a plus
• Detail-oriented and extremely organized (multi-tasking is second nature)
• Savvy with type, color and layout design
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Management of high volume projects
• Flexibility and availability to support creative requests at all times
• Strong team player comfortable collaborating and participating with all departments/levels within the organization in a highly professional manner
• Independent self-starter
• Positive can-do no job is too small attitude
• Understanding of print creative process
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience working with a creative team in an agency or studio
• Entertainment industry experience a plus
