Responsibilities
DreamWorks Animation is accepting resumes for a Coordinator in our Training Department. The individual filling this role will coordinate new hire orientation, monitor classes and labs, support on-going training, input and manage roster data, record/edit classes, create class posters, and provide any administrative help as needed
Job Duties:
• Monitors training schedule closely, anticipates needs, and addresses any daily scheduling conflicts
• Prepares training labs for classes, collects signatures, answers questions from instructors/students, and resolves any lab technical issues that arise
• Handles non-class lab usage such as Production team working sessions, AV maintenance, training recordings, class setup, employee learning needs and etc.
• Manages equipment and software in training labs and supervises any necessary upgrades/updates
• Collects class rosters, Inputs training data, and maintains/organizes training database using Excel
• Coordinates with HR and IT on managing/hosting new hire orientation
• Maintains online learning platforms accounts and assigns seats to employees when requested
• Designs class posters using Photoshop and promotes training sessions companywide via email blasts
• Records classes with HD camera and screen capture software, edits training videos using Premiere, and posts videos on internal youtube platform and wiki
• Generates a variety of training reports in Excel, Word, Google Sheet and Google Doc as needed
• Assists Training Production Supervisor in ensuring the department is in compliance with its contract with the California Employment Training Panel (ETP)
• Ensures office supplies are in stock for training labs

• Experience with collecting/organizing data using software like Excel or Google Sheet
• Basic design skills using software like Photoshop
• Basic video editing skills using software like Premiere
• Basic video recording skills using HD camera and screen capture software•
Desired Characteristics
• Experience in a role providing communication, customer service, and people skills
• Customer service skills or relevant experience preferred
• Tech savvy with strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills preferred
• Interest in animation, tv or feature film production
• Experience either in a technical training environment, in visual effects, animation production or similar high paced creative environment preferred
