Entertainment Public Relations Agency is seeking an energetic, organized, computer savvy and outgoing assistant/coordinator to join a small team of fast paced publicists to work directly with the Talent Division team. Candidate must have an interest in music, the entertainment industry at large, pop culture and be based in NYC.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Media research; creating professional press clips; assisting in developing written materials such as press releases, media pitches (including power list submissions, executive pitches, as well as straight forward talent focused pitches) and media alerts; managing schedules and travel, generating weekly reports, assisting in tour press and handling miscellaneous administrative tasks.
Please note - dealing with high-profile clients, we are looking for an assistant who is a team-player, trustworthy and is willing to give 110% to all tasks. The ideal candidate is a go-getter with a strategic approach. This is not a 9-5 job!
MUST have 1-2 years of work experience and multiple internships in entertainment/publicity. Experience working directly with talent a plus!
