Full Time Job
Disney Theatrical Productions currently seeks a coordinator to work within the Domestic Touring Department on the National Tours of Disney's THE LION KING and FROZEN. As coordinator, you will support the team administratively and also serve as marketing coordinator, actively promoting and maintaining a cohesive work environment, partnering with internal departments, external vendors and presenters at tour markets across the country. You will also collaborate with the Manager, Domestic Touring on local marketing efforts for our Touring Shows to support the ticket on sale period in each city. The ideal candidate for this role is enthusiastic, organized and able to balance a large volume of varying projects.
The position will report directly to the Manager, Domestic Touring.
Responsibilities:
TOUR MARKETING PROJECTS:
Maintain the extensive calendar of key marketing dates for each city on the tours.
Participate in Marketing Strategy calls with local venue marketing teams to develop the advertising plan in each market.
Schedule and design all priority offer email blasts in collaboration with internal and external partners and vendors. Route all priority offer communications for approval from key stakeholders, ensuring that messaging is inclusive and applicable to a diverse audience.
Distribute new social media content to local markets in a timely manner as it becomes available.
Coordinate details for local promotional displays featuring mask, puppet and/or costume elements from DTG productions.
Manage multiple internal websites, keeping creative materials up to date and ensuring accurate tour ticketing information is included on official show websites.
ADMINSTRATIVE DUTIES:
Prioritize and manage the constantly fluctuating schedule of the VP, Domestic Touring and Regional Engagements. Coordinate frequent travel arrangements and outlook calendar updates, anticipating information on materials required in advance.
Consistently provide expert-level administrative and project support to the entire touring department. Serve as the ''administrative hub'' for the touring team; answer phone calls promptly and cordially.
Book, facilitate and frequently shift a very high number of meetings, including communicating with multiple participants across multiple locations and/or time zones.
Manage merchandise fulfillment for all tours, including but not limited to invoicing, shipping, warehousing, etc.
Develop and maintain professional quality presentations in Keynote and PowerPoint and run presentation systems for meetings as needed.
Learn and manage tasks according to corporate travel and expense policy for the entire touring department. Prepare travel itineraries, expense reports and ensure corporate credit card payments and vendor invoices are processed on a monthly basis with absolute accuracy. Build skills to become an expert in company accounting, expense and travel programs.
Consistently maintain order and organization to department and VP's office, including electronic and physical filing; order supplies and fulfill department needs as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Self-starter with exceptional time management skills, attention to detail and initiative.
Strong project management skills, keeping multiple projects, at different phases in their life cycle, moving forward through completion in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Willingness to work collaboratively within a group as well as independently with little supervision.
Ability to maintain professionalism in a variety of environments and communicate effectively in writing and in person.
A problem solver who can find ways to optimize and streamline process and communication.
Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of advertising materials and understanding of marketing principles preferred but not required.
Experience working in a marketing agency or entertainment industry experience a plus
Preferred Education
Bachelor's Degree in Theatre, Communications, Marketing or equivalent work experience preferred but not required.
