Part of the Disney ABC Television Group, Disney Television Animation is a high capacity digital animation television production studio. Because of Disney Television Animation's strong use of commercial and custom software technologies to create its animation products, its use of technology, engineering, development techniques and software is critical to its production operations and workflows.
Responsibilities:
The Technology Coordinator (TC) serves as a first point of contact to the animation production environment by providing production helpdesk support. The TC position identifies and communicates on support trends and handles technical writing, ordering, shipping and receiving, inventory routing between multiple locations and misc. department administration tasks as needed.
The following is a breakdown of the Technology Coordinator's responsibilities:
• Operating the production support helpdesk.
• Providing production support using various technologies.
• Logging and routing production support information into tracking systems.
• Identify support trends.
• Provides first tier user account level administration.
• Technology ordering.
• Maintaining various operational, inventory, technical job and database systems.
• Maintain technical documentation outlining customer processes and department procedures.
• Perform other misc. tasks as instructed by department management.
• Creating reports on request across multiple data sources.
Basic Qualifications:
• Must have 1-3 years working computer experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience working with (advanced troubleshooting and configuration experience) Linux or UNIX, Mac OS and Microsoft Windows based systems in a network environment.
• Working knowledge of the: Adobe suite of applications, MS Office, and database entry.
• Experience with creating technical documentation.
• Must have a strong customer service orientation and have the ability to work with a diverse user community.
• Must be well organized, detailed oriented and have good follow through skills.
• Experienced with technical administrative tools in a networked environment.
• Able to communicate technical information effectively both written and verbally.
• Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to work in a fast pace, production critical team environment.
