Job Summary:
We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Cruise line / Maritime Recruiter, to join the Disney Cruise Line team, based in our offices in Hammersmith, London.
As a member of our Disney Cruise Line Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting and identifying top talent from around the world for employment on board our beautiful cruise ships.

Some European travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
The Disney Cruise Line Recruiter, will report up into our team in the US, and will have the following responsibilites:
• Act as a strategic partner / integrator within the UK and European market for Disney Cruise Line Recruitment
• Grow markets within the region in order to increase candidate flow ensuring quality and diversity
• Facilitate passive and active talent pipelining through creative sourcing strategies, interactive marketing plans and networking opportunities
• Expand the Disney Cruise Line recruitment brand by identifying and justifying Disney Cruise Line presence in job fairs focused on the hospitality, entertainment and cruise industry
• Identify key universities through recommendations of Disney Cruise Line Officers, partnerships with the Walt Disney World International Program and Walt Disney International as well as self-driven research.
• Grow relationships with faculty and alumni to educate potential candidates on the benefits of working for Disney Cruise Line
• Lead recruitment trips within the UK, Europe and other countries as identified around the world
• Manage day to day interview schedule meeting all hire plan requirements on a quarterly basis
• Develop direct sourcing strategies for both crew and officers for Disney Cruise Line for all lines of business within the Hotel and Entertainment departments
• Lead growth recruitment strategies for the Youth Activities and Family Entertainment departments
• Develop and cultivate relationships with Procurement Allies (hiring agents) from around the world so that DCL is always top of mind when excellent candidates contact their offices
• Build relationships with top talent at all levels in order to attract and excite candidates and ensure our ships are staffed with the best crew in the world
• Foster and build relationships with key partners within Operations and Human Resources
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful in the role, the following skills and experience are requested:
• Deep functional/technical expertise in talent acquisition and the cruise industry
• Ability to assess experience and qualifications in candidates that will positively impact the guest experience
• Ability to drive strategy and demonstrated capability in effective and creative recruiting and sourcing strategies
• Ability to articulate recruitment strategy remotely and engage and influence key leaders and partners
• Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and peers within the organization across geographical markets
• Avid social media user with proficiency in using platforms for marketing, engaging, networking and sourcing
• Excellent project management, presentation and influencing skills
• Experience developing, advancing and driving operational excellence across people, process and technology
• Experience with Kenexa or an equivalent Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Strong storyteller. Able to translate data, identify trends and relay insights
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• A spirit of adventure! Willingness to pack your bags as international travel is required
