Full Time Unpaid Internship
Job Summary:
The Partnership Marketing and Creative division is responsible for creating video content for Disney Channels Worldwide (DCWW) on-air and for off-air presentations when multiple Disney company stakeholders are working together. We support company initiatives, creating about a thousand unique pieces of creative yearly, with roughly 100 shoots on location with Disney talent.

A day in the life…
There are three subdivisions in Partnership Marketing & Creative: Strategy, Creative and Production. This internship is focused on the intersection and collaboration of the group's Creative and Production arms.
The Creative team is responsible for developing creative content, considering the marketing messages needed by the client, and understanding our internal divisions' expectations and needs. They have a general knowledge of the overall brands of Disney Channels Worldwide and our client's division, and create entertaining content that appeals to our specific audience. The production team is responsible for handling all project management, processes and deadlines, and closing out of projects once delivered. This involves the specifics of tracking multiple projects, hiring a production company for each, ensuring business paperwork is handled, tracking schedules and deliveries of assets, ensuring that creative review takes place as scheduled, and managing asset delivery and preparation for final on-air or off-air presentation. The Production group also handles all finances and operations.
Specifically in this role, the intern will be expected to provide general assistance to the Creative and Production teams and ancillary members of the production process from our strategy group.
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Supporting the Production team by becoming familiar with overall workflow, shadowing when possible, and attending meetings with vendors and clients to learn how to get and give direction on various projects. The Intern will also be responsible for following the process of content creation from inception through delivery to understand the various factors that go into the creation of Partnership Marketing content.
• Logging of notes and feedback in meetings and providing actionable summaries to the Creative and Production leads of those projects.
• General support of the department (PMAC) as requested including collecting, managing, and distribution of video assets.
Basic Qualifications:
What you bring to the role…
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Interest in television marketing, creative and production
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Understanding of social media and video sharing sites
Preferred Qualifications:
• Junior or Senior-level standing, or a recent graduate within 6 months of graduation date
• Film, Television, Journalism or Communications major
• Previous Marketing experience
• Previous experience with television post-production
• Proficiency in note taking
Additional Information:
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
• All students must be at least 18 years old
• All candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship.
• All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
Program Dates:
• All candidates must be available during the months of May/June to August/September for the summer internship program.
• All candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday 40 hours/week in Glendale, CA.
