Based in Burbank, CA, Disney Channel Worldwide is home to some of the most compelling Children's entertainment on television, including content for the three Disney children's cable networks: Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior.

This internship would support projects under the Disney Channel Worldwide Digital Media Product Management team. The DisneyNOW product is responsible for delivering video and gaming content from Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior across a broad array of platforms, including iOS, Apple TV, Android, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV and the Web. As the team's intern, you ideally would have experience working on consumer apps and/or website products.
Responsibilities:
Among various projects the team's intern might work on, these may include:
-Define Product Feature: you would work with the Product team to help define a new product feature. This would include doing research and working on written requirements for the feature, as well as working with the Digital Media Design team to visually bring the feature to life. You will learn the process for creating a feature and shepherding it through the overall development process.
-Interactive Content: you would participate in brainstorms for interactive content to support Disney Channel Worldwide programming priorities, including casual games, interactive video, and stunt programming. You will also shadow an Interactive Product Manager on one project from ideation through launch.
-Competitive Analysis: in the ever-evolving Kids' digital TV space, it's critical to be aware of what's happening in the competitive space. You will partner with our in-house Research team to compile competitive analyses regarding other Kids' products, as well as new technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
What You Bring to the Role:
-Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Prior internship and/or job experience working on consumer apps and/or website products.
-A knowledge and excitement for Disney Channels Worldwide content.
-Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage projects within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
-Demonstrated ability to work well and communicative effectively with members of cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, or a recent graduate within six months of graduation.
-Previous internship within a media/entertainment company.
-Experience in the Kids' TV space.
Additional Information:
Eligibility Requirements:
-All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
-All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
-All candidates must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship.
-All candidates must be available during the months of June through August for the Summer internship program.
-All candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday 40 hours/week in Burbank, CA.
-All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
-All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
