Job Summary:
The coordinator reports to the Executive Director of Strategy for the Partnership Marketing and Creative (PMAC) team. The coordinator maintains an awareness of the general status of all on-air assets coming to our department from other business units across The Walt Disney Company (TWDC). She/he is responsible for coordinating the planning, ordering, and scheduling of all synergy spots on Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD. Additionally, they will support the Executive Director and Vice President on presentation materials and weekly newsletters. The coordinator is also responsible for compiling monthly reports on the synergy support provided by all channels across the Disney ABC Television Group. She/he will work closely with the Production team and Media Planning team to schedule the delivery and airing of media plans.
Responsibilities:
• Daily lead on all on-air synergy requests coming from other TWDC business units.
• Create and track all records for deliverables in proprietary asset management system.
• Track all on-air deliverables in synergy planning grids.
• Plan the weekly distribution of synergy time amongst all campaigns currently running, strategically maximizing the impact for TWDC.
• Maintain and develop relationships with multiple lines of business for information and requests.
• Coordinate with business units across TWDC to make sure their spots are scheduled for the correct dates, and weekly air time distributed per their needs.
• Collaborate very closely with Media Planning to ensure all synergy content is scheduled correctly, taking into account various requests, restrictions, Programming plans, etc.
• Work with Executive Director to define weekly on-air priorities.
• Assist Vice President in preparation of weekly notes summing up the team's work.
• Compile monthly reports tracking all on-air synergy support provided by the Disney ABC Television Group.
Basic Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience in marketing or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Positive can-do attitude with strong initiative and follow through.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to build credibility and collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across the company.
• Strategic thinker
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong Excel skills.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
