Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst that will serve as a key member of the Strategy and Finance group for Freeform, Disney's cable and digital network for Young Adults (original series include Pretty Little Liars, grown-ish, Siren, Cloak & Dagger, The Bold Type, The Fosters, and Young and Hungry). This role will work closely with Freeform's Programming, Production, Sales, Research, Digital and Marketing teams to evaluate and manage strategic, financial and operational initiatives for the network. Through partnerships with key stakeholders your work will include: performing strategic and financial analyses, decision support and analyzing new and existing business initiatives. By providing high-quality, thoughtful insights, the Senior Financial Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the short-term and long-term financial success of this billion dollar business.

• Help develop the Annual Operating Plan and the Five Year Strategic Plan to establish Freeform's short and long-term business strategy
• Partner with teams across Freeform to execute on key business initiatives
• Provide modeling and analysis to support programming greenlight decisions for original programming and content acquisitions (series and movies)
• Partner with key executives to research, model and evaluate a variety of strategic projects and initiatives for the network
• Monitor industry trends and interpret the strategic implications for the business
• Develop and communicate presentation materials to executives on a range of topics, including programming analysis and recommendations, new business initiatives and executive level financial summaries

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or Management Strategy with 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a media and entertainment company, management consultancy, investment bank or finance/strategy team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a variety of business partners in a team environment
• Passion for the global media industry and Disney's brands and franchises
• Agility and flexibility in strategic thinking and problem solving
• Able to balance multiple priorities and resolve issues quickly in a fast paced environment
• Proactive and creative in approaching problems and presenting solutions
• Able to maintain both a rigorous attention to detail and a big-picture, strategic mindset
• Comfortable working both independently and as a member of a collaborative team
• High level of proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
