With over 95 patents and counting, our Digital Media Technology team is shaping the future of the media evolution. We were the first to provide authenticated users access to both live, 24/7 linear network streams and an extensive offering of advantaged-window, on-demand episodes on desktops, streaming media devices, smartphones and tablets. We developed the Emmy Award-winning ABC Player, the Emmy Award-winning Academy Awards Backstage Pass app for iPhone and iPad, as well as high-traffic, over-the-top applications and services for a variety of mobile, desktop, and streaming media platforms. We are not stopping there, we want to continue to develop groundbreaking, industry defining technology and we need your help to get there.
The Senior Product Manager will help us reinvent television, using a consumer-centric approach and providing the best entertainment experience available. He/she will be responsible for defining the product vision, requirements and road map that aligns and support the DATG networks' brand, vision, and strategy for the OTT platforms he/she is assigned to. He/she will have the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization to get stuff done, gain consensus, and drive product vision. He/she will be a big thinker bringing innovative and creative ideas to enhance the consumer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 4 years of consumer-facing product management experience
• Passion and desire to build products that deliver world class consumer experience
• Must be able to write clear and actionable requirements
• Should be able to think through complex edge cases (attention to detail is crucial)
• Ability to prioritize and maintain a product backlog
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously
• Track record in understanding consumer data in order to drive product evolution
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, which encourages excellence through collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
• Maintain a positive ''can do'' attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working on an entertainment or video based app
• Exposure to the TV Everywhere experience is a plus
• Background working on the Roku and (or) Samsung Tizen platforms
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree and/or commensurate experience
