Job Summary:
ABC News 20/20 is Hiring a Senior Producer
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing the editorial process, line producing, and generating new ideas for future content. Candidates must be able to effectively manage story assignments and show production in addition to supervising junior staff. Candidates should have a minimum of ten years' experience in long form. Control room experience is required. The ideal candidate will offer creative and innovative ideas for better story-telling as well as have the ability to work under pressure and handle breaking news. Understanding of digital platforms and social media preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
Basic Qualifications:
• Min of 10 years' experience in long form
• Strong editorial judgment
• Line producing and control room experience
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of digital platforms and social media preferred
Required Education
• 4 years undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
