Full Time Job
WABC-TV Eyewitness News seeks an experienced and motivated leader to help lead our growing digital video efforts. The right candidate will be a strong journalist with a passion for storytelling and experience producing digital content, developing creative videos and producing live events. The person in this position should have a proven track record in producing digital content across multiple platforms.
Job duties include overseeing digital video production and distribution; helping to develop video strategy and priorities for the team; working with newsroom staff and across departments to help others develop skills and produce original content.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience producing and overseeing high quality journalistic videos, excellent writing and editing skills, experience with DLSR and other cameras, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects), knowledge of trends in digital video, comfortable inventing and working with new formats such as 360 video, outstanding communication and organizational skills, able to set priorities, maintain overview and perspective, while managing many projects simultaneously.
