Full Time Job
Senior Manager, Digital Revenue, Inventory & Insights is responsible for all digital revenue reporting & forecasting, digital billing process, monitoring digital inventory avails and providing yield optimization insights for the ABC Owned Television Stations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor inventory forecast reports; analyze current and historical ad delivery to ensure optimized yield and maximized revenue streams; troubleshoot ad delivery anomalies
• Work with Sales Planning to develops capacity models and forecast strategies
• Provide ad revenue related reporting, including direct buys, programmatic revenue, eCPMs, Sell Through reports, ad hoc requests, etc. to track progress against digital ad revenue goals
• Work with Finance and Sales Management to create annual digital budgets and re-forecasting
• Establish sustainable digital invoicing process; manage internal relationships in conjunction with all systems around digital ad sales billing; work with Finance to coordinate invoice approval, V&R, etc.
• Impact the business through creative problem solving and implementation of reporting strategies
• Ensure the ongoing training and development of direct reports
• Investigate and manage implementation of new revenue and inventory vendors
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance, digital sales operations, inventory, web analytics, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Experience with data analysis, manipulating large data sets and interpreting trends
• Experience forecasting online advertising media inventory or forecasting in comparable industry
• Excellent Excel skills including but not limited to the construction of formulas, pivot tables and macros
• Extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and accurate
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
• High degree of initiative and proven ability to execute, both individually and as a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and efficiently manage time
• Solutions-oriented customer service focus that demonstrates responsiveness and competence
• Ability to summarize and report results in a clear and effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ad systems (Freewheel, Yieldex, DFP), financial planning & analysis systems (SAP), sales management systems, billing systems, and yield management systems strongly preferred
• Knowledge of the terminology and mechanics of the digital advertising industry - media ad sales a plus
• Experience working with web analytics tools, such as Omniture, Comscore, Nielsen DAR, and Ad-juster
• Familiarity with competitive measurement services like comScore or Nielsen
• Proficient in data analytics, data visualization and business intelligence tools, such as Platfora and Tableau
• Knowledge of relational databases
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Education
B.S in Accounting, Finance, Research or relevant discipline
