Segment Producer, Good Morning America (Washington Bureau)
Job Summary:
The Segment Producer supports our DC based correspondents and their daily reporting for Good Morning America. This person is the conduit between DC and the show in the evenings and the overnight as they prepare for air.
Responsibilities:
The Segment Prodcer writes correspondent scripts and produces pieces for Good Morning America. He/she must be able to write for broadcast under a tight deadline, communicate a clear vision of the package with the video editor, organize video and graphic elements, and assure content meets ABC News editorial standards.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for a creative storyteller with a sharp nose for politics and news in Washington. Must be able to synthesize the story of the day, write and produce packages on a tight deadline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer an established record of writing and producing for on-air talent.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
