Manager - Integrated Marketing (ABC Primetime)
Job Summary:
Disney ABC Integrated Marketing is seeking an experienced professional to report into the Executive Director of Integrated Marketing for ABC Primetime and Late Night based in Burbank, CA.
Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of advertiser driven marketing, integration and promotional programs as they pertain to ABC Primetime.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of development and execution of cross-platform deals. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Idea generation and creation of pitch materials (either in response to client needs or pro-actively)
• Building consensus among key stakeholders to obtain approval on the ideas (Management, Legal, BS&P, PR, Business Affairs, studios, producers, etc)
• Management of all communication required to facilitate deal negotiation from inception to closing (client, studio, producer, internal, etc.)
• Management of creative process for a closed deal (timelines, approvals, production shoots, post-production, etc.)
• Creation of deal recaps and research
• Manager is responsible for all show and Sales related documentation: deal agreement letters, budget management, internal billing, department status reports, case studies, research, competitive analysis, etc.
• Develop (e.g., actively participate in idea generation), write and negotiate advertiser opportunities including, but not limited to, in-show integrations and custom content for linear, digital, and social often on very tight timelines.
• Create presentations and proposals that detail the customized sponsorship opportunities as needed for all shows across the Alternative portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with studios, producers and all internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Legal, BS&P, Programming, Sales, IM etc)
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience at the Manager level in sponsorship marketing, branded entertainment, and/or promotion experience
• On-set experience required
• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, proven expertise in project management and execution
• Candidate must excel at multi-tasking and attention to detail
• Candidate must have the ability to translate verbal ideas into written presentations
• Candidate must have proven experience working with social platforms and sponsorship opportunities across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Candidate must demonstrate creative thinking and be a proven team player with the desire to do whatever it takes and thrives in a team culture
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
• Ability to travel for production shoots/client presentations
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4 or more years of overall experience in sponsorship marketing, branded entertainment and/or promotion experience at a network, cable, promotional agency, or entertainment studio.
• Entertainment network and/or cable television background preferred.
• Fully proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Keynote, Google Docs
• iMovie, and Final Cut Pro proficiency a plus
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
