Full Time Job
Job Summary:
The Manager is responsible for the management of the ABC Studios Asset Management Department and works closely will all ABCS television production crews locally and abroad.
Responsibilities:
• Manage studio physical assets inventory (costume, set dec, props), assess value and determine retention or disposition
• Direct and oversee logistics and shipping of assets and freight domestic and international while adhering to strict company policies and procedures
• Secure storage for studio production assets during and after production domestic and international
• Oversee the use and implementation of the Asset Management tracking software/database among production crews
• Closely partner with production personnel to ensure compliance with studio asset and shipping policies
• Manage and guide department direct report(s) and external labor crews on projects
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee billing and invoicing
• Work closely with third parties managing the sales, donation or loan of studio assets
• Provide input and recommendations to the Director of Production Operations
• Travel as needed to asset storage facilities locally and abroad
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to work calmly, professionally, and collaboratively, under pressure, and with a variety of personalities
• High level of integrity in handling proprietary and confidential information
• Candidate may need to lift up to 35lbs
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed with minimal notice
• Flexible work schedule. May be required to work overtime and during the holiday seasons.
• Warehouse operations and inventory experience
• Entertainment industry experience
• Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proven organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal/verbal/phone and written skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Must possess enthusiasm, flexibility, and be willing to assume a variety of tasks relating to warehouse and inventory management
