Job Summary:
Freeform, the young adult brand for The Walt Disney Company, is looking for an executive assistant to the President of the network.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the President, Freeform.
• Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, screening and routing phone calls, managing schedule, processing expense reports, and ensuring timely and effective communications
• Provide additional office support such as distributing mail, filing, faxing, photocopying, scanning and tracking documents, ordering supplies, and processing purchase orders
• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of business travel, including trip logistics and itinerary, meeting coordination, and remote support when executive is traveling
• Create PowerPoint and Keynote presentations
• Assist with special projects as needed, which range from event planning to large office logistics and planning
• Interface with various Disney departments and external organizations
• Coordinate and attend weekly high-level staff meetings and take notes
• Facilitate in the scheduling and planning of high-level corporate/finance meetings
Basic Qualifications:
• 3 years administrative experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate environment and/or an agency preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Keynote
• Strong filing skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to assure successful interaction with all levels of employees and external contacts
• Ability to effectively and professionally interface with high level executives, clients, business associates, and employees
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Ability to exercise good judgment and use discretion
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• A self-starter - ability to anticipate issues and proactively problem solve
• Demonstrated initiative and follow-through skills
• Proven experience in multi-tasking and working with multiple people and priorities
• Demonstrated flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change is constant
• Detail oriented
• Enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
• Good customer service skills and excellent telephone manner
Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficient in SAP
• Strong understanding of the Freeform demographic
• Experience at a studio, network, large production company, or agency
• Willing to commit a minimum of 2 years to the position
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
