Job Summary:
The operations coordinator works closely with all departments at Good Morning America to help manage the administrative, office and staffing needs for the program.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for handling administrative and office duties including, overseeing Purchase Orders and invoice processing, weekly staff timesheet/invoice submission, office moves, office supplies, onboarding new staff and freelance hires. Liaison with IT, Accounts Payable and Payroll departments.
Position also coordinates the GMA intern program and oversees intern assignments for the GMA Summer Concert Series.
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong administrative skills, extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, ability to problem solve and work in a collaborative office environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is a must.
• Experience with Concur and INews is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in office management, payroll and new hire on-boarding processes.
• Experience in television or News environment is a plus.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
