The ABC Entertainment Casting Department is responsible for overseeing the casting process for all scripted primetime television shows for ABC Studios and ABC.

Responsibilities:
As a Coordinator with the Casting team, you will assist with the day-to-day responsibilities of the studio/network casting department:
• Become a member of a smart, fun, and collaborative team.
• Scout and track up-and-coming inclusive talent for ABC Studios and ABC shows.
• Help find new and creative ways to work together with an eye toward quality and efficiency.
Your role will include:
• Scheduling department events, pilot screen tests, ABC Studios & ABC casting sessions, travel and reimbursements.
• Creating memos, demo reels, presentations, and statistic-driven cast reports for internal/external meetings.
• Ability to work on various ABC Discovers initiatives: including Actor Audition Workshops and Los Angeles & New York Talent Showcase.
• Supervising the interview process and on-board mentoring of interns and assistants (temporary and full time).
• Supporting Casting executives and assistants as needed, including updating department coverage/contact sheets and construction/moves.
• Maintaining rapport with internal and external Studio/Network executives and assistants, casting directors, producers, agents, managers and talent.
• Manage and troubleshoot the department's technical and video equipment.
• Provide department SAP support in the establishing and payment of vendors, uploading of invoices, creation of purchase orders, obtaining petty cash, ordering of office supplies and setting up new employees.
• Attend film festivals, drama school actor showcases, movies, plays, comedy shows regularly in order to research new talent.
• Work with the Creative Talent Development & Inclusion Department to ensure the proper reporting of all primetime on-air diverse talent numbers.
• Organize all casting information for all projects between the casting department and the rest of the studio and network.
Basic Qualifications:
What You Bring to the Role:
• One or more years in an administrative capacity in Casting, agency or a Studio/Network.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, personable demeanor.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to multi-task with an eye toward efficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment or independently, with minimal supervision, and assume responsibility.
• Ability to maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate overtime as needed.
• Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A demonstrated proficiency with both MAC and PC operating systems.
• A strong interest in Casting, Television, and the Entertainment Industry.
• Previous experience in entertainment and casting.
• Prioritizes and multi-tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Takes initiative: a polished, proactive self-starter.
• Works well under time constraints, handles multiple projects and prioritizes assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in casting.
• Prior experience within a Casting office and/or Talent Agency or Management Company.
• Knowledge and mastery of SAP/Concur/Procurement Cards, including expense reports and Casual Buyer.
• Familiarity with IMDB, Studio System, ESN, DAX, PIX, and CastIt Systems are preferable.
• Proficiency with software, including: iMovie, iDVD, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere.
• Proficiency with social media, including: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
