Coordinator – Business Intelligence (ABC Studios)
Job Summary:
ABC Studios seeks a Production Business Intelligence Coordinator to assist in executing the data analytics strategy for the studio's Production Management department. Reporting into the Sr. Manager of Production Business Intelligence, the Coordinator's primary role will be to provide administrative support for the studio's digital content systems. The role will also require running reports and creating basic visualizations from raw production data curated by the content systems. The position also supports the department's internal A/V needs.
Responsibilities:
• Support the strategic direction of the ABC Studios Production Business Intelligence Department
• Provide administrative rights efforts for the Studio's digital content systems including digital dailies, rough cuts and finals, document repository and distribution
• Work closely with the Studio's digital content system vendors to acquire raw data reports
• Run various reports
• Provide A/V support for live video streaming, internal audio/visual systems, digitizing, transcoding, and assembling clip-pulls for internal studio projects
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years overall work experience
• Experience in information systems, data BI and analytics, or related fields
• Understanding of common BI tools including data visualization, big data, Tableau and SQL querying
• Understanding of Production/Post-Production tools such as Digital Production Document Systems, digital dailies systems, and video digitizing and editing software
• High attention to detail, organization, team-orientation and able to work under tight deadlines
• Querying, modeling, slide preparation, and delivery
• Clear and concise communicator
• Ability to handle multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, adjusting to change and continually aligning priorities to ensure the most important efforts to the company are completed
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment
• Familiarity with media and television businesses, including digital platforms
• Familiarity and experience with information technology, information science and database technology
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working within a Production or Post Production Studio
• Experience in Technology and Operations organizations
• Mastery of PowerPoint/Keynote and Excel/Numbers
Required Education
BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Library, Information Science or equivalent combination work experience.
