Job Summary:
Good Morning America seeks a highly motivated individual for an Anchor Assistant position. Primary responsibilities are to provide administrative support for on-air talent including work and travel schedules, tracking expenses and handling phone and mail correspondence. Eligible candidates must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment under considerable deadline pressure. Strong mastery of logistical skills is a must. Candidates must be highly flexible regarding working hours as this job may involve early mornings, weekends and late nights when necessary.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support for on-air talent.
• Manage schedule and arrange meetings with executives and potential on-air guests and experts.
• Organize and book extensive travel arrangements for anchor team.
• Track expenses and filer timely expense reports filing expense reports.
• Handle phone and mail correspondence, including Viewer Mail.
• Responsibilities may also include research assistance for breaking news and future projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 Years experience working in pressure situations
• Strong mastery of logistical skills is a must.
• Strong organizational and communications skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook and social media outlets.
• Familiarity with INews.
• Able to work well under pressure and in breaking news situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a network news environment.
Required Education
4 Years Bachelors or equivalent experience
