Disney ABC Television Group seeks a qualified candidate for an Administrative Assistant to support Executives within ABC Daytime and Owned Television Stations.
Responsibilities
• Primary administrative support to the VP of Current and East Coast Development; provide administrative support for two additional VPs as needed
• Administrative duties include maintain calendar, phones, and travel arrangements; submit expense reports and purchasing requests for supplies.
• Prepare talent presentations for internal/external meetings (hosts, chefs, bloggers etc.)
• Prepare weekly reports of air and taping grids. Segment breakdown of celebrity guests, audience giveaways, sales integrations and plugins.
• Prepare Talent Bio's & one-sheets while coordinating weekly talent meetings with various agencies such as: CAA & ICM.
• Research and generate innovative concepts and ideas for current programming.
• ''Who Wants To Be a Millionaire'': Help manage external talent consultants, casting research for contestants, and scout audition locations
• Send out weekly contestant notifications with air dates, publicity instructions and pay status for all earnings with ''Who Wants To Be A Millionaire''
• Utilize Millionaire Navigator to access all proposed questions. Prepare a weekly report and submit to VP for final approval
• Work in conjunction with the social media team for Millionaire. Send updated contestant notifications with pod buster reports to build an audience before the contestant's air.
• Respond to general inquiries from contestants and the general audience about auditions, airdates and all other requests.
• Maintain and update talent database and events calendar.
• Generate, maintain and distribute weekly ratings for all syndicated and current daytime programming.
• Research talent for projects. Pitch talent for new development and current shows
• Oversee talent gifting for launches, birthdays and milestones.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year Administrative experience
• Technical Skills: PC Proficient with firm grasp of Microsoft (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of Network, Studio, or Production related television experience
• Strong interest in TV Business
Required Education
• BA or BS from a 4 year accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
