Core to Eurosport’s strategy for engaging our Sports audience is creating authentic, intuitive, and delightful digital products. As the User Experience (UX) Designer, you will be responsible for defining the user experience across Eurosport Digital products. You will help create a framework for UX patterns in a multi-device environment spanning web, mobile, tablet, smart TV, OTT devices and games consoles, ensuring that our users have a best-in-class digital sports experience that informs and inspires.
This role will work closely with Product, Development, Editorial, Advertising and Marketing teams to deliver product experiences that will place ES Digital properties ahead of market.
Responsibilities
• As part of the UXD team, champion a user-centric design process and a culture of customer-focused product discovery and delivery within ES Digital.
• Execute the delivery of elegant solutions across ES Digital’s suite of products – from discovery through to definition, prototyping and validation.
• Support user research processes, from guerrilla testing to large-scale qualitative and quantitative research projects
• Analyse and translate qualitative and quantitative research findings into actionable insights and user experience recommendations.
• Create and document UX design and research principles and guidelines for ES Digital ecosystem.
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience designing for responsive web, mobile native and other connected devices
• Experience of a range of User Experience specialisms, including areas such as user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, user testing.
• Experience of undertaking user research to inform design direction and decisions.
An online design portfolio of case studies is required for consideration. When showcasing group work, please specify your personal contribution to the project.
Nice to have
• Proven experience in UX&D in a sport, media or video setting. Specifically creating designs that:
• Drive video consumption
• Onboard new subscribers to a premium experience
• Inform and delight in a multi-sport, multi-language environment
