The ideal candidate will have the rare combination of operational know-how and strategic instinct. This is a client and executive facing role that requires being able to balance multiple products, projects, priorities, and detail while cultivating a trusted relationship with global partners and managing a team.
Responsibilities
1. Develop product strategy for enterprise shared services, productivity and collaboration platforms.
2. Work effectively with customers, partners, executives, stakeholders, and our Technology and Product teams to build well defined and integrated roadmaps to deliver on the strategy.
3. Develop deep and trusted relationships with key partners and use the knowledge of their business processes and requirements to drive product strategy and work prioritization.
4. Align and partner with vendors to address and deliver on our organizational needs.
5. Keep abreast of changes to existing and new 3rd party solutions that can deliver on our product strategy.
6. Partner with vendors to drive and help build their roadmaps with a Discovery first focus
7. Champion the product strategy by partnering with Technology Enablement, Service Delivery, Employee Experience, Training and all impacted partners to develop on and/or build products that establishes thought leadership in the organization.
8. Collaborate with Engineering, User Experience, Training, Infrastructure, and direct stakeholders to drive the product lifecycle from concept to customer success.
9. Define the backlog for engineering teams, write the user stories, and drive the productivity and effectiveness of the engineering teams.
10. Operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment by developing relevant, sustainable solutions and align the right resources to the task at hand.
11. Foresee and plan around obstacles and identify possible issues before they become issues.
12. Provide financial oversight in the development and tracking of program budgets, including but not limited to reconciliation, reporting, and understanding of variances
13. Coach and grow the product management teams for the next phase of growth for the organization.
14. Provide leadership across the organization in a broader operational capacity related to staff development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements
* Equivalent of 8 years of product management or similar experience in building and/or managing a 3rd party large scale enterprise service.
* Proven ability to excite and lead a successful cross-functional team, and a data-driven and outcome orientation.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions and low-level technical discussions.
* Solid visual communication skills including the ability to create and deliver a great slide presentation.
* Be comfortable delivering a compelling product demonstration, including the ability to tell a story and communicate business value in addition to product features and benefits.
* Own the product vision for your area and ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision, as well as be an expert on the domain
* Champion the product vision so that all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where the organization is going.
* Experience representing the customer and being the champion and voice of customers by building impactful, personal relationships with customers, engineering teams, and service delivery teams.
* Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
* Ability to multi-task and handle on a proactive basis, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment to maximize time-management and efficiencies.
* Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills.
* Serve as a cultural ambassador demonstrating through actions continuous learning, a positive outlook, a drive to make an impact and being accountable for results.
* Ability to balance risk with business priorities and applies the appropriate sense of urgency to issues.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies, including at least three years of experience with a variant of Agile (lean, kanban, etc.).
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
