The Job:
Turner Sports' Creative Services Sports Unit (CSSU) is the Emmy award-winning Emmy creative arm of popular sports properties like, the NBA on TNT, NCAA March Madness, NHL on TNT, and MLB Postsason on tbs. CSSU delivers customized content across the full spectrum of Turner Sports' media linear and digital platforms, from promotional campaigns, show opens to features. CSSU plans, creates and executes memorable productions.
Responsibilities
The Daily Responsibilities:
• Collaborate and assist in all phases of the post production.
• Help manage the footage library for CSSU. This includes compiling, evaluating, and logging video for all Turner Sports properties. (NBA, NCAA, NHL March Madness & MLB).
• Work closely with CSSU producers to gather and identify the best and most relevant video for their project.
• Develop creative writing skills for broadcast and promotions.
• Gain experience in post-production fundamentals: editing, sound design and visual effects.
The Essentials:
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, competent in Excel and Google Docs, in-depth knowledge of sports, passion for visual storytelling
• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (18 years or older)
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
About the Internship Program:
• Our Spring 2023 program is a 12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, February 6th through Friday, April 28th, 2023
• Part time-schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive salary. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
