Overview
Specialist - People & Culture Operations
Responsibilities
• Support in recruitment activities including sourcing, screening and selection as well as ensuring all on-boarding and pre-employment checks are completed appropriately
• Manage communication process with internal and external candidates, People & Culture Partners, Talent Acquisition team colleagues and hiring managers supporting recruitment processes
• Ensure compliance with company and local legislative policies for recruitment processes
• Focus on the candidate experience, continually identifying opportunities to provide a better candidate and new hire experience of joining Discovery
• Responsible for Audit and Compliance of I-9 Forms, including training office verifiers and maintaining re-verifications in partnership with Immigration
• Resolve complex cases for P&C customers and stakeholders on variety of topics while providing exceptional customer service
• Analyze and test data processed in the systems and vendor integrations to determine compliance and accuracy
• Participate in P&C projects and initiatives to improve processes and drive system efficiencies
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned which may become essential to the position
Qualifications
• 3 years of HR experience, preferably within an HR Operations or Talent Acquisition team
• Strong verbal / written communication skills, organization skills, detail-oriented
• Able to critically review processes and provide suggestions for improvement
• Excellent customer service skills
• Highly motivated and self-starter, with high level of energy and a proactive approach to work
• Proficient in G Suite/MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines on multiple projects or tasks concurrently
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to target audiences
• Comfortable working with a global consumer base
• US Onboarding experience, including handling of I9 document and Orientation
