Explore The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, eager specialist to hit the ground running to support the Flexible Staffing Program, along with the Intern Program. Our team needs someone who is very organized, can manage competing priorities, is able to see the big picture, and has strong communication skills. This dual role would demand someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can navigate tasks efficiently from two programs.
Responsibilities
Flexible Staffing:
• Serve as a liaison and point of contact for our flexible staffing vendor, Yoh
• Work closely with our P&C Operations team on vendor management system requirements, flexible worker processes, troubleshooting issues, etc
• Serve as a resource to clients and P&C Partners to navigate and support their flexible staffing needs
• Lead effort to utilize intern program to pipeline flexible worker and full time roles, screening, coordinating, communicating between managers, recruiters, and managed service provider
• Oversee approvals in vendor management system
• Educate and guide managers on appropriate programs and processes for their flexible staffing needs
• Monitor, respond and escalate messages received in the Flexible Staffing Inbox
• Administrative responsibilities ensuring that documentation, communications and files are organized, neat and thorough
Internship Program
• Source, recruit and hire for high volume of internship requisitions during spring and summer programs
• Support logistics behind running the internship program day to day; including intern speaker and networking events, developing relationships and managing communications with University Career Centers
• Assist with communications to interns and managers
• Attend campus and career events as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-5 years’ experience in human resources
• A proven track record of stellar customer service, serving as a trusted advisor, delivering best-in-class support to Discovery managers through proactive outreach and subject-matter expertise
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
• Strong written & verbal communication skills - the ability to message across all organizational levels
• A strong aptitude for technology and systems
• Keen attention to detail
• Sense of urgency, responsiveness
• Ability to work independently
• Capability of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Out Of This World Skills
• Media industry experience preferred
• Recruitment experience a plus
• Experience in Fieldglass, Success Factors and iCIMS a plus
