We’re looking for a Software Engineer enjoys building systems that integrate disparate data sources, support dynamic websites, and critical mobile applications. This role includes working with AEM Content Management System, AWS Cloud Services, Java, OSGi, Apache Camel, and VUE.js. The engineer for this role will collaborate with engineers of various specialties, project managers, product manager, and content creators both within and across our product development teams.
Responsibilities
1. Will work with Amazon Web Services to build and manage Infrastructure and integration systems.
2. Communicates accurate status on work, progress, delays, or issues
3. Work with product managers, project managers, designers and other engineers on product roadmaps
4. Weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions in a fast-paced environment with constant change
5. Asks questions to help align work assignments with team objectives
6. Participate in the on-call production support rotation (rare after-hours support)
7. Assist with production deployments when needed
Requirements
* Experience with at least two object oriented languages (Java, Python, Ruby, Swift, etc)
* Professional experience working with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc)
* Experience automating infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar
* Experience with writing understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and scalability.
* Understanding of distributed version control systems such as GIT.
* Proficiency communicating with non-technical stakeholders
* Willingness to be objective and learn to use data to make informed decisions

* Problem-solving attitude
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
* 2 years experience with AWS
* 2 years working with Java or Python
* Experience working with on enterprise scale consumer-facing websites and applications
* Experience writing testable code with corresponding tests, leveraging behavior-driven frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium, Jasmine or Jest
