The Revenue Analyst role specifically includes but is not limited to: managing the compliance process for a portfolio of accounts, cash application, account reconciliation, financial & trending analysis, and collections. The Revenue Analyst will interact regularly with a cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders and will serve as a subject matter expert for their portfolio of accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Analysis
a. Perform monthly Revenue/Subscriber Flux reconciliations
b. Analyze historical data to recognize and monitor relevant trends
c. Produce ad hoc analysis to service interdepartmental customers
2. Compliance/Audits
a. Monitor Affiliate compliance with new and existing legal agreements
b. Articulate areas of specific concern
3. Financial & Accounting
a. Participate in month-end close process
b. Process monthly remittances and payments
4. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Associates Degree (accounting or finance, preferred)
* 3-5 years prior work experience (cable or media industry, preferred)
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
* Proactive individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookup formulas)
* Ability to understand contract terms
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently, and design/implement process improvements
* Highly organized and able to manage priorities effectively
* Must be detail-oriented and able to deliver on multiple timelines
* Must possess the ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
* Ability to develop and foster positive relationships
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
* Proficiency of SAP a plus
* Experience in creating financial and other data models a plus
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
