Full Time Job
This position is responsible for providing all aspects of production support and project management to the Brand Creative team for HGTV, DIY and GAC Networks. This person is a key liaison to internal clients, external vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Provide production support to creative team responsible for 360? marketing campaigns across 3 networks. This includes on-air, print, digital, social, branded/integrated and consumer marketing campaigns, keyart, episodic photography and syndication assets.
2. Collaborate with the creative team leaders to execute campaigns, from project inception through completion; including but not limited to managing timelines, vendors, contracts, budgets, licenses, securing talent, and post production. Serve as a production and post information resource to help creative team problem-solve.
3. Process work requests from multiple internal clients; ensuring deadlines are realistic, assets are accurate and accessible, and work is assigned to staff in a timely matter. -
4. Handle all aspects of shoot production. Work with creative teams and vendors to ensure the highest level of production value and a flawless execution.
5. Consistently meet timeline and budgetary goals. Book and wrangle celebrity talent; work with agents, production companies, and talent to secure time, arrange travel, arrange style fittings, and manage communication. Attend to the details that ensures a superb talent experience and performance.
6. Provide production and creative assistance as needed to Producer and Design teams; work with show production to obtain footage, stock imagery, ensure edit session materials are prepared, assist with final cart process as needed, close out projects and confirm proper archival of project. Supervise edit sessions as needed.
7. Work with vendors to provide accurate estimates and SOWs. Provide budget reporting to the Director of Production at project start and finish. Handle all paperwork involved in procurement processes; such as contract requests, new vendor on-boarding, Talent request forms, and submit all invoices.
8. Work closely with the Post-Production team to ensure the efficient use of in- and out-of-house post resources; including edit, sound design, color correction, and music composition. Serve as back-up to scheduling team when needed.
9. Assist with all media management and asset requests.
10. Liaise with the international team to ensure international regions receive timely production support, guidelines and assets.
11. Ensure an innovative, positive and solution-oriented environment aimed at always finding a way to support great ideas that will move the brand and business forward.
Requirements
* Excellent project management skills a must.
* Understanding of all facets/phases of broadcast and print production including concepting, scripting, pitching, shoot production, and post-production.
* Have a strong command of digital, motion graphics, print and collateral production.
* Have a strong understanding of live-action and still production and the ability to manage on-set production personnel.
* Experience working with talent .
* Understanding of promo scheduling, tagging and asset delivery.
* Ability to identify and resolve complex technical, operational and organizational problems.
* Natural negotiator; adept at building and maintaining business relationships.
* Superior organizational skills.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
* Ability to develop and implement systems and processes with support from stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills are required, with ability to navigate needs of multiple stakeholders in all areas.
* Must have a positive attitude and be solution oriented.
* Proficient working with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
* Experience working with Avid, Filemaker Pro, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat Pro a plus.
* Familiarity with video and still production workflows, non-linear editing systems, and media management systems.
* Experienced with project management and media management applications.
* Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications or the equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years working in television production or post-production environment.
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
