Full Time Job
The Manager, Pricing & Planning will coordinate with the Director of Planning & Operations to work with the sales team (AEs, planners and assistants), Finance, Planning & Operations to achieve financial goals.
Responsibilities
1. Work with Ad Sales to optimize revenue efficiencies and inventory usage
2. Evaluate and approve upfront and scatter media proposals before being offered to clients
3. Develop reporting tools to accurately track quarterly performance
4. Assist in DR vs National profitability analysis
5. Analyze program delivery and pricing strategies
6. Coordinate with programming & scheduling teams to minimize revenue impact of program changes
7. Build and maintain ratecards
8. Prep for upfront, Pricing Sheets, Pricing Model, YOY
9. Work on cross platform liability initiative
10. Track impact of cross platform liability by network
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in television ad sales
* Sales Planner experience required
* Strong Analytical skillset.
* Strong computer skills; highly proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel
* Comfortable interacting with individuals of all levels
* Ability to take initiative and independently manage workload with regard to prioritization and time
* Quick learner and problem solver; thinks “outside the box”
* Detailed-oriented with ability to multi-task; Persistent attention to detail
* High energy and sense of urgency in completing all tasks
* Must have legal right to work in the United States
